Alternative Parenting Israel is based on the premise, that being a parent is an inalienable human right regardless of a person’s ability or desire to be married, and that the fulfillment of that right can be made possible in the setting of an alternative family.

The center is designed for homosexuals, men or woman and heterosexual woman. At the center you are given the opportunity to find the suitable parenting structure while professional accompaniment and support throughout the process.

The center of alternative parenting was Founded in 1994 by Racheli Bar-Or , a social worker and psychotherapist, and Gidi Shavit, a social worker, psychotherapist and family therapist.
